Job summary

UCF Athletics seeks a Director of Performance Nutrition to lead a comprehensive nutrition program for 16 NCAA Division I sports and 450+ student-athletes in Orlando, FL. The role demands strategic program oversight, collaboration with sports medicine, and adherence to NCAA regulations.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Nutrition/Dietetics (RD preferred), be eligible for Florida licensure, and manage meal operations, budgets, and education initiatives while working evenings,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field; RD preferred.
• 2 years of related experience, or 4 years with a bachelor's degree.
• RD accreditation and Florida license eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a full-service training table and fueling stations operations.
• Collaborate with campus entities to educate student-athletes on nutrition and hydration.
• Ensure NCAA compliance on supplements and banned substances.
• Develop individualized nutrition plans with sports performance/medicine teams.
• Manage meal card program, meal frequency, and attendance reporting.
• Oversee budget, procurement, and inventory of fueling stations.
