UCF Athletics Association Inc. seeks a Director of Performance Nutrition to lead a comprehensive nutrition program for 16 NCAA Division I sports and 450+ student-athletes in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include overseeing meal operations, optimizing dietary strategies, and ensuring NCAA compliance under the Deputy A.D.

supervision. The role requires a Master’s in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field with RD accreditation and relevant experience; travel and evening/weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nutrition/dietetics or related field; RD preferred.
• Two years of related experience; bachelor’s degree may count for four years.
• RD accreditation through CDR and Florida license eligibility required.
• Evenings/weekends and travel may be required.
• Commitment to NCAA/Conference rules and institutional policies.

Responsabilités

• Research best practices for full-service training table and fueling stations on/off campus and oversee daily menu/catering.
• Collaborate with internal entities for nutrition education and hydration guidance for student-athletes.
• Counsel on appropriate, NCAA-compliant use of supplements and banned substances; evaluate products regularly.
• Develop individualized nutrition plans with sports performance and coaching staff; support dietary goals.
• Collaborate with sports medicine on medical nutrition therapy and body composition analytics.

Formation

Master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, Food Sciences, Registered Dietitian or closely related field

RD accreditation (CDR) and Florida license eligibility
