Job summary

PalAmerican Security in Illinois is seeking a Patrol Officer to join our team. You will be a visible ambassador, monitor premises, respond to incidents, document actions, and conduct security checks to protect client sites.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong English communication, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Prior law enforcement or military experience is a plus; HS diploma or GED is required; 2 years in security or customer service preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Effective communication in English, verbally and in writing.
• Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus.
• Able to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Valid Drivers License with ability to pass MVR check.
• Minimum age of 21.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in security, customer service or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Submit formal reports of each patrol performed
• Practices safe driving skills both on and off duty
• Maintains a highly visible presence observing and reporting unusual activity
• Conduct security checks and inspect building entrances and exits
• Patrol, inspect, and secure access areas into client's premises
• Lock and unlock areas according to schedule
• Conduct site safety and security inspections
• Document observations, activities, and actions completed
• Adapt and innovate for maximum efficiency
