Job summary

Thunder Valley Casino Resort is hosting a dealer school with sessions starting October 12, 2026 and running seven weeks, ending November 27, 2026. The program prepares participants to join the casino’s table games team upon successful audition and offers part-time shifts on Swing or Grave shifts.

Trainees will learn dealing procedures, customer service excellence, and casino operations. Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of game policies, maintain table cleanliness, and ensure accurate payouts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Must be able to pass departmental audition.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Basic money handling skills.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations quickly.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Deal games efficiently and accurately with Guests and Team Members.
• Provide Four Diamond service by being knowledgeable about Thunder Valley Casino and its promotions and events.
• Assist in training Guests not familiar with various table games products.
• Demonstrate knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
• Deal games in accordance with internal controls while maintaining dealer efficiency metrics.
• Maintain knowledge in all aspects of the games dealt.
• Safeguard assets and handle transactions at gaming tables.
• Ensure payouts are made quickly and accurately.
• Adapt to table pace for all players.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly chip trays at the table.
