Job summary

Midwest Security Forces, LLC is seeking a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a residential community in South Holland, IL. This role requires prior unarmed/armed security, law enforcement, or military experience and offers both full-time and part-time positions.

The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain a visible on-site presence, observe and report activities, and respond swiftly to security threats while upholding client procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• Security Officer experience required; police experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Must possess valid IL PERC Card.
• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our client’s staff, residents, and visitors.
• Secure the premises and establish a friendly on-site presence.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
• Remain vigilant and proactively identify security concerns.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to critical situations.
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Must have strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Ability to work within a structured team environment.
• Must consistently maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.

Midwest Security Forces is seeking highly experienced applicants to fill immediate Unarmed Security Officer positions in a residential community inSouth Holland, IL. This position requires prior unarmed security, law enforcement, or military experience. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, excellent operational judgment, and the ability to respond swiftly and appropriately to security threats. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

General Armed Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
