Job summary

Midwest Security Forces, LLC is seeking an experienced Armed Security Officer for a residential environment in Hammond, Indiana. The role requires prior armed security, law enforcement, or military experience and involves providing attentive on-site security, customer service, and rapid response to incidents.

The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, the ability to read and write detailed reports, and excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• At least a high school education or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Armed Security Officer experience required. Police experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Must possess valid IL PERC Card
• Must possess valid IL FOID Card
• Must have completed IL 40-hour Firearms Training
• Must have your own approved firearm and appropriate holster

Full Time Northwest Indiana, IN, US

Midwest Security Forces is seeking highly experienced applicants to fill immediate Armed Security Officer positions in a residential community in Hammond, IN 46320.This position requires prior armed security, law enforcement, or military experience. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, excellent operational judgment, and the ability to respond swiftly and appropriately to security threats. We have full-time and part-time positions available.
General Armed Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our client’s staff, residents, and visitors
• Secure the premises and establish a friendly on-site presence
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
