Job summary

AJ Tutoring in the Bay Area is seeking energetic Math Tutors to join a professional 1-on-1 team. You’ll work in our central Palo Alto office, helping high school students master pre-calculus and calculus with personalized guidance.

Ideal candidates are college graduates who communicate clearly, are punctual, reliable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, supportive tutoring environment. Minimum 15 hours per week, including after-school, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Help high schoolers with challenging pre-calculus and calculus classes.
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few hours of admin work.
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one math tutoring to high school students.
• Deliver targeted instruction in pre-calculus and calculus.
• Support students and families with progress updates and scheduling.
