Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking a lineman to repair and maintain overhead and underground electrical power lines from power plants to customer meters. The role involves digging trenches, installing meters, climbing poles, and inspecting lines for repair or replacement.

The position requires safety awareness, physical fitness, and experience with wiring diagrams and underground systems. On-site work entails exposure to high elevations and varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal journeyman lineman training program.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a lineman.
• Able to identify safety hazards.
• Must be always alert.
• Able to understand spoken and written English effectively.
• Must be able to pass post offer substance testing.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly understands and implements safety procedures.
• Safely and accurately prepares work sites with warning signs and secures areas.
• Locate underground electric cable faults for repair.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Install primary and secondary overhead and underground electrical systems.
• Works on energized and de-energized power lines.
• Conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.
