Job summary

Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa seeks a dedicated kitchen steward to maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen. Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and supporting cooks and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible with weekend and holiday shifts, and possess or obtain ServSafe certification upon hire. This is an on-site role at Bretton Woods, NH.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Sort and wash soiled ware; keep dish machine clean and stocked.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans.
• Transport and clean cooking utensils for equipment readiness.
• Maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors; clean worktables, walls, refrigerators.
• Remove trash to designated containers.
• Steam-clean or hose garbage cans; wash dishes as needed.
• Rotate stock and store clean utensils and stock.
• Sanitize all kitchen equipment and area; follow safety guidelines.
