Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Cleaner to join our team. You will perform cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other spaces, following safety policies and health standards. Multiple shifts available; full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles.

The position requires reliable transportation, strong communication, and physical stamina for repetitive duties. Salary starts at $20.25 per hour, with weekend evening schedule (Saturday and Sunday 5pm-1am).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of physical demands including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly.
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Perform additional duties as required, including responding to flooded areas and spills.
