Job summary

The Queen's Medical Center Department of Cardiology seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with advanced training in Structural Heart Disease to join the Queen's Heart Institute, Hawaii's premier tertiary and quaternary cardiovascular referral center.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease, with experience in evaluating and managing complex valvular and structural heart disease.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology is required or strongly preferred.
• Advanced fellowship training or equivalent experience in Structural Heart Disease is preferred.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology should be current or within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary and structural heart interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, and STEMI call coverage.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, imaging specialists, and heart failure teams to plan complex procedures.
