Job summary

Heart Care Centers of Illinois in Chicago seeks a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our established cardiovascular practice serving the Chicagoland area. The role combines clinic and hospital responsibilities with a focus on coronary interventions and comprehensive cardiovascular care.

The incoming physician will perform coronary diagnostics and interventions, peripheral procedures, and ASD/PFO closure, with opportunities to expand into structural interventions.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Illinois licensure eligibility.
• Board Certified / Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Completion of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology training.
• Coronary interventional experience required.
• Peripheral vascular training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Lead peripheral arterial and venous interventions.
• Execute carotid and aneurysm interventions.
• Perform ASD/PFO closure procedures.
• Structural heart procedures including TAVR, mitral/tricuspid repair, LAAO.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular management.
