Job summary

HealthCare Recruitment Counselors in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to join a multidisciplinary team. In-office consultations and procedural injections framework. Excellent earning potential with $550K+ and full-time arrangement.

The role offers collaboration with physicians, psychologists, nurses, and physical therapists, along with comprehensive benefits and a robust referral network to support patient care and outcome improvements.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Pain Management, PM&R, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or related specialty.
• Active medical license in Alabama (or ability to obtain).
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve function and quality of life.
• Perform pain management procedures and injections in procedural suites.
• Order and interpret imaging, X-rays, labs, and diagnostic studies.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations.
• Prescribe medications and rehabilitative services as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and pain management options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers including physicians, psychologists, nurses, and physical therapists.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and compliance with all regulations.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and professional development.
