Job summary

HCRC Consulting in Birmingham, AL is seeking a compassionate Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our growing outpatient team. The role includes in-office consultations and procedures in a busy clinical setting, with strong support staff and established patient volume.

You will diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain, perform injections, order imaging and labs, and collaborate with physicians, psychologists, nurses, and physical therapists.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Pain Management, PM&R, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or related specialty.
• Active Alabama medical license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA registration required.
• Strong procedural and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve function and quality of life.
• Perform pain management procedures and injections in procedural suites.
• Order and interpret imaging, X-rays, labs, and diagnostic studies.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations.
• Prescribe medications and rehabilitative services as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and pain management options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers including physicians, psychologists, nurses, and physical therapists.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and compliance with all regulations.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and professional development.
