Job summary

Our client, a leading law firm in Dallas, seeks an Associate Attorney with 3 to 12 years of experience to join the litigation team. The focus will be on general liability and insurance defense, offering opportunities to handle complex cases in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.

You will manage all aspects of litigation from pleadings and discovery to depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation, conduct legal research, and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 3–15 years of experience in general liability and/or transportation liability defense.
• Active license in good standing to practice law.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skill.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skill.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions.
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitration.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carrier.
• Develop litigation strategies and work closely with senior attorneys and partner.
