Job summary

Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the Engineering team in a 605-room convention center hotel located in downtown Oklahoma City. You will maintain and repair major equipment, assist the Engineering Supervisor, and act as a First Responder in emergencies.

The role requires troubleshooting across Refrigeration, HVAC, Kitchen and Laundry systems, working with high voltages, and ensuring adherence to Omni safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Prior maintenance/engineering experience required, preferably in a large hotel.
• Thorough working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Be the knowledgeable “specialist” in at least 2 areas.
• Must understand how to obtain trend information for issues and perform a trend analysis.
• Be able to fully understand, read and write in the English language for professional communication with guests.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment and components.
• Maintain refrigeration, HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Work independently with mechanical, thermal, and chemical systems.
• Work independently with electrical voltages up to 480 volts.
• Understand and follow Omni fire alarm procedures and safety protocols.
• Receive work requests and respond promptly; prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
• Maintain and repair equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Keep logs and documents for daily assignments and projects.
