Always Compassionate Health seeks highly experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurses to deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics and other infusion therapies in patients’ homes. This role requires 3–4 years of hands-on chemotherapy and immunotherapy experience and current ONCC certification.

You will collaborate with patients, families, pharmacies and physicians, perform assessments, manage venous access, and document care electronically.

Qualificações

• Active unrestricted New York State RN license and registration.
• 3–4 years of recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration experience.
• Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate or ONCC certification.
• Experience in home care or infusion settings.
• Competency with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics and other infusion therapies.
• Strong venous-access and central-line skills.
• BLS certified; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to assess patients and respond to adverse reactions.
• Reliable transportation for field-based visits.
• Proficient with electronic documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in the patient’s home.
• Review and interpret physicians’ orders and treatment plans.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and prescribed infusion therapies.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Recognize and respond to infusion reactions and clinical changes.
• Perform peripheral IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Access and manage PICCs, midlines, central venous catheters, and implanted ports.
• Perform central-line dressing changes and line maintenance.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment, medication administration, side effects, safety precautions, and when to contact the clinical team.
• Communicate with patients, families, infusion pharmacies, physicians, and internal staff.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation.
• Perform follow-up visits and ongoing assessments as ordered.
• Precept or evaluate newly hired infusion nurses when requested.
