Job summary
Always Compassionate Health seeks an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse to deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biologics in patients' homes. The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on chemotherapy/immunotherapy and a current ONCC certificate.
Candidates should have strong venous access skills, central-line management, and the ability to educate patients and caregivers. Per-diem, part-time opportunities with base hourly pay are available.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted New York State RN license and registration.
- Minimum of 3–4 years of recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration experience.
- Current ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate or applicable ONCC certification.
- Recent infusion experience in home care, oncology, infusion center, hospital, clinic, or similar setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in the patient’s home.
- Review and interpret orders and treatment plans.
- Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment; respond to adverse reactions.
