We offer ongoing education, teamwork, and an exceptional client experience, with a W-2 position and service commission starting at 40%, with potential to reach 45%–50% based on performance.

Ideal candidates will own professional styling tools and have proven skills in color, lightening, cutting, and finishing.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey cosmetology license.
• Experience working independently as a hairstylist.
• Strong skills in color, lightening, cutting, and finishing.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.
• Desire to build/retain clientele and continue learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough consultations and personalized color, lightening, gloss, haircut, blowout, and styling services.
• Maintain consistent service quality, professional timing, and attentive client care.
• Educate clients on home care and product recommendations; encourage rebooking.
• Keep accurate service tickets and maintain an organized schedule.
• Keep station and tools clean and sanitized for each client.
• Participate in salon education, team meetings, and ongoing skill development.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, professional salon atmosphere.
• Maintain and actively manage your own professional beauty social media account with salon tag and booking info.
