Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant coaching or playing experience may be considered.
• Previous experience coaching goalkeepers or playing goalkeeper at the collegiate, professional, or other highly competitive level preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of goalkeeper techniques, tactics, training methods, and player development.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct specialized goalkeeper training sessions focused on technical, tactical, physical, and mental development.
• Provide instruction in areas including positioning, shot stopping, handling, distribution, footwork, communication, crosses, one‑on‑one situations, and set pieces.
• Assess goalkeeper performance and provide individualized feedback and development plans.
• Assist the Head Coach with team practices, training sessions, and game preparation.
• Participate in practices, home and away competitions, and other team activities as assigned.
• Assist with game analysis and evaluation of goalkeeper performance.
• Support the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student‑athletes, as assigned.
• Promote academic success, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and the overall development and well‑being of student‑athletes.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.
• Follow all College, conference, and NCAA policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Participate in required departmental meetings, training, and professional development.
• Perform other duties related to the soccer program as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletics administration.
