Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the sport assigned with prior coaching experience preferred.
• Familiar with IHSAA/NFHS rules for the sport.
• IHSAA/NFHS coaching certification preferred (training available).
• First Aid and CPR certified; knowledge of concussion protocol.

Responsibilities

• Develop practice and competition schedules and manage equipment inventory.
• Notify athletes of policies and training rules for the sport.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline within the team.
• Supervise practices and competitions and correct conduct as needed.
• Monitor academic progress and ensure eligibility.
• Coordinate facilities and uniforms; maintain team roster.
• Provide leadership and positive attitudes; engage with school and community.
• Hold preseason or postseason parent meetings; ensure forms are submitted.
