Sentara Healthcare in Northern Virginia invites applications for a General Surgeon to join a well-established surgical team at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, providing elective, emergent, and trauma care at a Level III Trauma Center.

The role includes potential to train or expand services at the SRC Accredited Robotic Center of Excellence, with competitive compensation, sign-on bonuses, and strong benefits. Board eligibility/certification and Virginia license preferred.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in General Surgery or Board Eligible with intent to sit for Board Examinations.
• Active Virginia license or ability to obtain licensure in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform elective and emergent general surgery with trauma coverage.
• Cover trauma as part of a Level III Trauma Center.
• All call and surgical responsibilities based at one hospital.
• Opportunity to train or help expand services at the SRC Robotic Center of Excellence.
• Align with hospital administration on surgical care decisions.
