Job summary

Heartland Co-op is seeking a dedicated Tanker Driver to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, lubricants, and LPG to customers across assigned routes. You will load, transport, and unload products, ensuring accurate loads, safe handling, and proper documentation.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL with endorsements, strong safety practices, and the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance. This full-time position involves outdoor work and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos.
• Strong safety awareness and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and load tanker truck with gasoline, diesel fuel, or lubricants.
• Deliver product to customer tanks and verify correct loadings and safety.
• Maintain contact with supervisor and report delivery details and pricing per policy.
• Collect payments per company credit policy and process paperwork as required.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Inspect and connect lines, perform line trenching where needed.
• Adhere to DOT and Heartland Co-op safety standards.
