Job summary

Community.co is seeking a freelance ghostwriter to join our team of content strategists. You will research topics, conduct client interviews, and produce bios, profiles, and 700–800-word articles that align with each client's voice and goals within tight timeframes.

You will also manage revision requests promptly and engage with busy clients in a professional manner while adapting to a range of business topics from technical to leadership guidance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a post-college professional copywriting, journalism, content marketing/creation role.
• Strong portfolio of business content (blogs, white papers, articles) with samples required.
• Comfort with a wide range of business topics, from technical to leadership.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling copy for a professional audience.
• Basic HTML knowledge (h2s, links, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Research article topics and conduct efficient client interviews to capture insights.
• Write bios, profiles, and 700–800-word articles in line with editorial standards and client voice.
• Turn around revisions quickly and courteously.
• Interact with busy clients professionally and constructively.
