Qualifications

• Minimum three years of full-time paramedic or critical care paramedic experience.
• Current Iowa Paramedic certification at hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• PALS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Iowa CCP Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments in pre-hospital and hospital settings.
• Promote patient-centered care respecting patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Respond quickly and calmly to emergent and critical situations.
• Document comprehensive patient records reflecting care provided.
