Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Paramedic certification (Maryland) or NREMT Paramedic.
• Firefighter I and II certifications or equivalent.
• MV/Mechanical rescues training as MFSPQB, Pro Board, IFSAC, or DOD.
• Emergency Vehicle Operator course (MFRI/VFIS or equivalent).
• NIMS 100/200/700/800 required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency scenes with calm, quick actions.
• Provide advanced life support and basic/advanced care to patients.
• Engage in firefighting, rescue and stabilisation operations.
• Make critical decisions balancing medical and safety needs on scene.
