SJ Janis Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to work on high-end residential remodeling projects in the Milwaukee area. You will collaborate with Lead Carpenters and skilled tradespeople to deliver top-quality craftsmanship.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, independence, and maintaining our workmanship standards. Candidates should have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic, with opportunities for year-round work and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of carpentry experience.
• Strong rough and finish carpentry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, work orders, and change orders.
• Install framing, cabinetry, doors, windows, drywall, trim, base, casing, and crown molding.
• Complete detailed finish work with superior craftsmanship.
• Assist with basic repairs related to painting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and staining.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
• Protect company tools, materials, and client homes.
• Communicate effectively with Lead Carpenters and Production Managers.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience on every project.
