Job summary

The Transportation Security Administration is seeking Federal Air Marshals in Dover, GA to protect domestic flights and combat terrorism. Selected officers will work on and off aircraft, engage in law enforcement, investigations, and advisory roles while maintaining firearms proficiency and security clearances.

Qualified applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 21, able to pass background and medical screenings, and willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national
• Must be at least 21 years old when applying
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial passenger flights from terrorist activity, aircraft piracy, and other criminal threats
• Work discreetly aboard domestic and international flights
• Carry a firearm and maintain the firearms proficiency required for federal law enforcement duties
• Perform other specialized assignments, including Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems operations
