Job summary

Transportation Security Administration seeks qualified individuals to become Federal Air Marshals at March Air Reserve Base. You will protect commercial flights, work discreetly aboard domestic and international journeys, and maintain firearms proficiency as required for federal law enforcement.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, be 21+, pass background checks, obtain a Top Secret clearance, and complete training.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience that demonstrates problem-solving, planning, organization, and effective written and verbal communication.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• A qualifying combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial passenger flights from terrorist activity, aircraft piracy, and other criminal threats.
• Work discreetly aboard domestic and international flights.
• Assess developing situations and respond to potential threats with limited backup.
• Carry a firearm and maintain firearms proficiency as required for federal law enforcement duties.
• Conduct law enforcement, investigative, analytical, and advisory activities.
