Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Master Fabricator Winder for the Alternate 12 Hour Weekend A Shift (Fri 6:30 am–Sun 7:00 pm). This on-site role supports our main plant with fabrication, assembly, and finishing of composite products for defense and aerospace applications.

You will perform equipment setup, wiring and fastening per drawings, maintain tooling and shop cleanliness, and participate in minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years Winding Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication, fabricate, assembly and finish varied products through instructions, drawings, tooling and hand/ power tools.
• Perform equipment setup and changeover.
• Capable of minor maintenance duties.
• Move parts and materials and maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the plant.
