Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking an Executive Protection Specialist to serve as the primary protection agent for the CEO, President, or VIP designee. The role involves advanced planning for local, domestic, and international travel and events, coordinating with law enforcement, drivers, and staff to ensure secure movements and schedules.

Responsibilities include threat assessments, protective drives, medical response, and liaison with VIPs and security partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• 5+ years practical security experience with a focus on protective operations and threat mitigation.
• 2+ years of close protection experience, preferably in dignitary or diplomatic environments.
• LEOSA permit to carry a concealed firearm.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat assessments to mitigate threats to Senior Management.
• Monitor residence security systems.
• Preplan activities for regular and special events.
• Provide Duty of Care support and travel tracking for executive international travel.
• Coordinate with service providers to protect principals during daily activities.
• Drive CEO and other Executives as needed.
• Provide emergency first aid/CPR as needed.
• Assist Corporate Security with investigations, training, and site assessments.
• Liaise with VIP protection details and security staff as required.
• Communicate vulnerabilities and safety concerns promptly.
• Prepare and manage protective advance planning and route security.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained and prepared for protection duties.
