Job summary

Shoals Ambulance is seeking an EMT to provide on-site standby emergency medical care and transportation at events within Pennsylvania. You will respond to scenes, render medical care, and transport patients to facilities while adhering to state laws and company protocols.

Maintain vehicle readiness and ensure patient safety throughout operations. The role requires EMT licensure, CPR certification, and the ability to work closely with dispatch, hospital staff, and public safety teams.

Qualifications

• EMT license required and current CPR certification.
• ACLS or PALS certification preferred; ongoing training expected.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care in emergency and non-emergency settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with EMS and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and transport patients to medical facilities.
• Provide on-scene medical assessment and treatment per protocols.
• Maintain ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and medical supplies before/after calls.
• Document patient information and care provided per HIPAA and policies.
• Coordinate with dispatch and medical control during responses.
