Job summary

Cook County Health's John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital in Chicago seeks a Board-Certified Radiologist to join the flagship department.

The role includes supervising and interpreting CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy in a busy Level 1 trauma center, with opportunities to contribute to teaching and academic activities. Ideal candidates will have ABR/AOBR certification or eligibility, Illinois licensure, and fellowship training in Body Imaging or Neuroradiology.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiologist with medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Illinois medical license or eligible to obtain before start.
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
• Fellowship in Body Imaging or Neuroradiology in the U.S. (completed or in progress).
• ABR or AOBR certification (or eligible).
• Valid Federal DEA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interpret Diagnostic Imaging studies (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for high-volume trauma center care.
• Mentor residents and medical staff in an ACGME-accredited environment.
• Maintain high standards of state-of-the-art diagnostic services.
