Job summary

ICES: Data, Discovery, Better Health is seeking an experienced Concrete & Hardscape Installer to craft premium outdoor and indoor spaces. You will master decorative concrete, epoxy floors, and intricate concrete features, both residential and commercial, turning raw materials into lasting architectural finishes.

You will execute precise flatwork, formwork, and decorative applications, including metallic finishes and stone installations, in varying weather conditions and terrains.

Qualifications

• Experience in decorative concrete, epoxy floor coatings, and advanced hardscaping.
• Strong understanding of mix designs, cure times, and chemical application of stains, epoxies, and sealers.
• Proficient operation of listed equipment and safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Install interlocking pavers, natural stone, and retaining walls to industry standards.
• Implement drainage solutions to protect structural integrity.
• Build outdoor living features like fire pits, seating walls, and kitchens.
• Set precision forming and assist in pouring slabs with reinforcement, pitch, and grade.
• Execute joint cutting and finishing with power trowel techniques.
• Apply decorative finishes including microtoppings, overlays, and staining.
• Install epoxy and polyaspartic systems with metallic finishes and chip broadcasts.
• Prepare substrates with grinders/shot-blasters and verify moisture tests prior to coatings.
• Repair and restore existing concrete, addressing delamination, spalling, and cracking.
