Total Mechanical Service is hiring an HVAC, Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment at customer locations. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and maintain service records while providing excellent customer service.

The role includes on-call rotation, a strong focus on safety and quality, and opportunities to grow with a dedicated team serving Central and Southern Illinois,

Qualifications

• Previous experience serving or repairing HVAC, refrigeration, or cooking equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Commitment to punctuality, organization, and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain vehicles and paperwork for service calls.
• Communicate with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation and identify new business within accounts.
