Qualifications

• Minimum 48 months operational diving experience.
• Graduate of USSOCOM accredited combat dive school.
• Possess a Secret Clearance.
• Current military dive physical or ability to pass one.
• Active BLS/CPR/AED certifications and stamina for 4–5 hours of instruction daily.
• Able to pass an age-graded Army Physical Fitness Test.
• Expertise in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting MK-25 and Open Circuit dive apparatuses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elite combat diving instruction with dive physics, physiology, and maritime operations.
• Maintain military bearing during instruction and evaluation of SOF dive candidates.
• Maintain medical readiness with dive physical; keep BLS/CPR/AED current.
• Lead and coordinate complex diving operations safely.
• Deliver lectures, demonstrations, and pre/post-dive briefs to students.
• Maintain administrative records for student progression and evaluations.
• Log dive profiles and equipment maintenance per SFUWO and DoW regulations.
• Adhere to applicable safety and SOPs.
