Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair painter to join our Springfield, MO team. You will perform refinish work, match colors, and ensure high-quality paint results across vehicles in our shops.

You will mix paints, follow OEM blending standards, and communicate the vehicle's stage in the paint process. Certifications in paint procedures and I-CAR credentials are preferred to ensure top workmanship.

Qualifications

• Certifications in paint procedures and I-CAR certifications are required.
• Experience in automotive refinishing is preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work with teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs all refinish work according to specs.
• Match colors of paint following specified color charts.
• Communicate vehicle stage in paint process.
• Monitor painting operations to identify flaws and correct causes.
• Mix paints to match color specifications and vehicle colors.
• Follow OEM blending formulas, topcoat application and curing.
• Apply designs or logos to finished surfaces as required.
• Verify paint consistency and quality.
• Layout logos or designs on painted surfaces per blueprints.
