Propak Energy Services is seeking a Senior CAT 3600 and Waukesha Mechanic to join our field service team in Williston, ND. This senior, hands-on role tackles complex overhauls, troubleshooting, startups, and commissioning on large gas engines and compressor packages.

You will lead major engine overhauls, mentor technicians, and coordinate field operations while ensuring safety and quality standards. Experience with CAT/Waukesha engines and commissioning is required.

Formación

• Experience diagnosing and overhauling CAT 3500/3600 and Waukesha engines.
• CAT 3600 Master Mechanic Certification required.
• Experience leading engine overhauls and commissioning projects.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul CAT 3500/3600 and Waukesha engines.
• Lead startup and commissioning activities for gas compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate field teams.
• Work directly with customers and provide technical expertise.

Are You the Mechanic Other Mechanics Call for Help? Propak Energy Services is looking for an Elite CAT 3600 & Waukesha Mechanic to join our field service team! This is a senior-level, hands-on role for experienced professionals who can independently tackle complex overhauls, troubleshooting, startups, and commissioning projects on large natural gas engines and compressor packages.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul CAT 3500/3600 and Waukesha VHP/VGF engines
• Lead startup and commissioning activities for gas compression equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues
• Support Ariel reciprocating compressors
• Lead overhaul and turnaround projects
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate field teams
• Work directly with customers and provide technical expertise
• Ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards are met

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with CAT or Waukesha gas engines
• Verified CAT 3600 Master Mechanic Certification
• Experience leading major engine overhauls and commissioning projects
• Knowledge of CAT diagnostic software
• Ariel compressor experience or training preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel and work overtime when required
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Waukesha OEM Training/Certifications
• Ariel Level 1 Certification
• PLC & Controls Troubleshooting Experience
• Oil & Gas Compression Industry Background
