Responsibilities

• Coach participants in sport-specific skills and techniques.
• Provide a positive learning environment for athletes.
• Plan and schedule in-season practices in accordance with district policy and rules.
• Manage athlete behavior during training and competitions; enforce discipline and sportsmanship.
• Ensure safety of facilities and equipment; oversee conditioning and injury prevention.
• Assist athletic director with scheduling interscholastic contests and equipment procurement.
• Maintain complete records (attendance, insurance, accidents) and report as required.
