Job summary

IMCMV Holdings, Inc- Margaritaville Restaurants seeks a Banquet Captain to lead event staff and ensure flawless execution from setup to breakdown. You will coordinate food & beverage service, manage logistics, and address on-site issues to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with kitchen and event coordination teams, attend BEO meetings, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet/event service, preferably in food & beverage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with guests and team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide on-the-job staff (BEO/PX) and ensure duties are performed.
• Serve as primary communication point between event staff and clients.
• Set up and breakdown event spaces according to the schedule.
• Inspect event areas for cleanliness and proper setup.
• Coordinate food and beverage service with timely fulfillment.
• Resolve guest concerns or logistical issues and escalate when needed.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs.
• Attend weekly BEO meetings.
• Provide staffing guidelines for events to leadership.
• Process staff group tips and report to leadership.
• Ring group into POS ensuring Aloha and Triple seat match.
• Confirm payment from client.
• Ensure adherence to venue policies, safety procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event coordination teams for seamless execution.
