Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license required by Allied Universal policy.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

As an Elite Armed Security Officer supporting a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and armed certification. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
