Great Expectations College Prep, LLC in Los Angeles seeks an experienced test prep tutor specializing in SAT, ACT, HSPT and ISEE, with AP Physics tutoring expertise, to support students and families across our programs.

This part-time, hourly role requires collaboration with outreach, operations and client relations teams, maintaining deadlines, tracking progress, and delivering targeted lessons that boost scores while building student confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Top 50 institution or higher.
• Expert knowledge in standardized testing (SAT/ACT/ISEE/HSPT).
• Comfortable tutoring ACT/SAT and AP Physics courses.
• At least 2 years of verifiable tutoring/teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized SAT/ACT instruction based on student strengths and timelines.
• Teach test-taking strategies, pacing, and time-management.
• Review diagnostics and develop targeted lesson plans.
• Track progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize score improvements.
• Communicate progress, concerns, and recommendations to students and families.
