Job summary

It’s A Secret Med Spa is seeking a Laser Technician to deliver high-performance laser and aesthetic services in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will provide exceptional client care, perform Laser Hair Removal, Photo-facials, and HydraFacial, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant charts and sterile procedures.

Candidates must hold a Laser Technician license and Medical Esthetician license, with high school diploma, weekend availability, and strong knowledge of laser treatments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Laser Technician license required.
• Medical Esthetician license required.
• Weekend work and flexible schedule required.
• Strong knowledge of laser, skin treatment procedures, esthetician practices and medical practice management.
• Ability to self-promote and engage in company social media with relation to meeting social media guidelines and expectations.
• Must understand patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation.
• Maintains a high level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation.
• Must have sound judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to reach above shoulder height, crawl, kneel and push/pull-up50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to our clientele to enhance customer satisfaction, experience and productivity.
• Perform laser services within scope of practice under licenses/certifications.
• Work closely with Mid-Level Providers as needed for client care.
• May assist to train peers and new hires to ensure Company standards.
• Maintain strict medical protocols for all laser services, regarding state regulation, HIPAA and all other regulatory compliance programs.
• Maintain a professional neat appearance and adhere to dress code for upscale atmosphere.
• Perform laser services including Laser Hair Removal and Photo-facials.
• Perform aesthetic services including derma-planning, SkinPen microneedling with/without PRP, facials, chemical peels, HydraFacial.
• Perform body contouring services such as CoolSculpting.
• Provide client-centered customized plans to meet skin care needs through services and product/treatment sales.
• Perform full aesthetic consultations to meet client goals.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Assist with packing and stocking orders within locations.
• Assist with inventory management and communicating needs to management.
• Ensure charting is accurate and timely.
• Attend continuing education as requested by Clinical Management.
• Attend team meetings and provide input.
• Ensure client concerns are reported to senior staff promptly.
