Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Access Control Specialist to help secure a US intelligence community facility in Maryland. The role involves screening and controlling access for employees and visitors with proper IDs and ensuring restricted items do not enter or leave the building.

You will communicate clearly, provide excellent customer service, and support 24/7 security operations. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a polygraph is required, along with citizen status and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph.
• Must live within 75 miles of Annapolis Junction, MD.
• Commit to working 16 hours biweekly (2 weekend shifts per pay period).
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing.
• U.S. citizen.
• Must read, speak and understand English fluently.
• Work location in a restricted mobile communication zone; may need to detox from mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access of employees and visitors in/ out of restricted areas with proper ID.
• Ensure prohibited/restricted items do not enter or leave the building.
• Provide patient, clear directions and excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
• Pursue a career in security and contribute to protective missions.
