Job summary

TheASPA is seeking an Academy Scout for Philadelphia Union FC to identify, evaluate, and recruit elite youth talent for their academy. This role involves managing daily scouting operations, maintaining the scouting database, and building relationships within the soccer community.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two years of scouting experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential as well as a passion for talent identification and player development.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of scouting experience within football, preferably in a professional environment.
• Strong understanding of player development pathways and academy environments.
• Ability to evaluate talent using objective and subjective assessment methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Academy scouting and recruitment operations.
• Identify, monitor, and evaluate top talent across various markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with youth clubs, coaches, agents, and key stakeholders.
