Job summary

Alpha, a forward-looking education company, is hiring a Life Skills Coach at its Austin campus. You will coach, not lecture, using data to diagnose blockers and push for follow-through, while maintaining elite coaching standards.

This is a full-time W2 role offering immediate benefits and weekly pay. You will run 1:1 and small-group sessions, lead workshops, and build trusted relationships with students and families to help them achieve ambitious growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leadership that raised others’ performance.
• Ability to lead engaging, high-rigor group sessions and coach individuals with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Run 1:1 and small-group coaching to turn student goals into progress.
• Use analytics and goals to diagnose blockers and set motivation plans.
• Deliver life-skills workshops using storytelling, reflection, and real application; assess mastery.
• Lead daily kickoff moments to set culture and align students.
• Cultivate mentor relationships with students and families through standards and consistency.
