Job summary

Gunnison County seeks an Eligibility Technician to provide public assistance program services, including food, financial and medical aid. You will initiate applications, conduct interviews and manage ongoing eligibility re-determinations for diverse clients.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in a related field and at least one year of customer service experience; Spanish is a plus. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Pay Rate

The hourly pay range is $24.19 to $27.54, depending on experience, plus full benefits.

*The County pays monthly on the last weekday of the month.*

Job Summary

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
• Must completeICS 100, 200 and 700 within the first year of employment.

Qualifications/Education

• Bachelor’s degree in health care, administration, management or human behavioral sciences.
• One-year previous working experience which should include customer service, and a demonstrated ability to use and learn new business technologies.
• Or any combination of education and experience that Gunnison County
