Job description

Eligibility Senior Representative - Remote

The Cigna Group is hiring an Eligibility Senior Representative for the Error Resolution team. As an Eligibility Senior Representative, you'll be responsible for implementing, updating, and maintaining electronic and manual eligibility data in core systems. You'll identify file formatting or data integrity errors, seek process improvement opportunities, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure a positive customer experience. You may also provide technical support for electronic eligibility processing and work with internal teams to resolve file errors.

What You'll Do
  1. Reconcile eligibility across various source systems.
  2. Interact with internal and external partners, including offshore teams.
  3. Take ownership to identify barriers and opportunities.
  4. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Eligibility and Electronic Enrollment projects.
  5. Identify and resolve file formatting or data integrity errors.
  6. Utilize the Daily Production Log (DPL) as part of the Management Operating System (MOS).
  7. Support cross-functional activities to address capacity issues, adapting to team needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Individual Family Plan (IFP) or Group Plan Eligibility, highly preferred.
  • Experience with Centralized Eligibility Database (CED) and/or Facets is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word; intermediate Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables are highly preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, persevere, and adopt a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

For remote work, a broadband internet connection with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds is required.

The hourly rate ranges from $19 to $28, depending on experience and location, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) match, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and holidays.
