Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in a related role preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Verify new patients entering the Practice Management system.
• Identify benefit issues from the electronic verification system.
• Flag accounts and notify appropriate staff about issues.
• Request initial referrals and document in the Patient Management system.
• Stay current on insurance changes and communicate updates to staff.
• Document coverage comments in EMR when reimbursement should be evaluated.
• Collaborate with team to resolve payer responses or trends.
