Job summary

ADM is seeking an Elevator Worker in Paducah, KY for a full-time, hourly role at the grain terminal. You will load barges and operate skidsteers, wheel loaders, and forklifts, while performing deckhand duties and supporting maintenance and operations staff.

The role requires strict safety adherence, physical stamina, and flexibility for varied shifts, weekends, and overtime. A background check is required; base pay starts at $20.00 per hour with overtime eligibility.

Elevator Worker - Paducah, KY

This is a full time, hourly position.

We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our Paducah, KY Grain terminal.

Job Responsibilities:

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

• Load Barges
• Operate heavy machinery (i.e – skidsteers, wheel loaders, forklifts)
• Deckhand responsibilities
• General housekeeping duties (i.e. – mowing, site cleanup)
• General maintenance
• Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as needed
• Operating equipment

Job Requirements:

To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
• High school education or equivalent is preferred
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights and above/near water, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Willing to work shift with variable start time, weekends, holidays and overtime if needed
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
• Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay for this position is expected to be:
